Challenge

After growing frustrated with a plateau in sales, and being outranked in local searches for similar products, Jonathan Elias, co-founder at shoplostfound.com and workingtitleshop.com., reached out to us to see what we could do to improve online traffic, conversions, or both. Given Lost & Found’s reputation as one of the best menswear retailers in Toronto, we jumped at the chance to work with this team.

The Solution:

Our strategy for Jonathan was no different than what we would advise any other retail business: focus on SEO, E-mail, and Instagram as they are the most effective drivers of customers in a buying mood.

From an SEO perspective, we sought to implement on and off page optimization techniques we knew would increase search engine visibility, on-site navigation, higher image and keyword results, greater time-on-site, and a higher conversion percentage.

In addition, we would assist in tweaking e-mail campaigns by redesigning templates and subject lines, removing low value subscribers, and segmenting the master list to improve open rates and conversions.

Lastly, we offered some simple ideas for Instagram Ad creative and shared some of the best brand campaign examples we could find.

This is one of the things we do best

A 45% INCREASE IN GROSS SALES WITHIN THREE MONTHS OF IMPLEMENTATION.

A 33% increase in site traffic (website visitors).

A 40% increase in pages viewed.

A 36% increase in time spent on site.

Within one year of our campaigns, Lost & Found went on to receive earned media from industry giants like Complex, and local news outlets BlogTo, Toronto Life, Post City, and others.
