About Via Cavour:
Via Cavour is an Italian luxury menswear retailer in Toronto’s upscale Yorkville neighbourhood. The company works directly with designers and craftsmen across Italy to provide ready-to-wear, custom tailored suits, handmade shoes, and accessories.
Since 2003, they have been a key source for coveted brands like Brunello Cucinelli, Tom Ford, Jacob Cohen Jeans, Loro Piana, Paolo Scafora, Stile Latino, and more.
Challenge:
Via Cavour represents 60 years of exploration and experience within luxury menswear and what co-owners Santo De Rose and Fabio Fata describe as a quiet approach to dressing. The Via Cavour brand ethos is distinctly Italian, discerning, and unrelenting in the search for the best the world has to offer.
Exceptional quality products paired with exclusive, personalized service, and attention to detail at every opportunity. As with most retail businesses, our job was to translate that offline experience online.
Solutions:
Our content strategy focused on three core themes: the quiet approach to dressing, exceptional Italian craftsmanship, and personalized service.
Our flagship piece was a series of videos called “Welcome to choice”. These top down voiceover videos provide in-depth discussions of some of the most popular pieces from the shops top brands. In each video, the viewer is guided through key details of the garment as though they were in store discussing it with a staff member.
In addition, we produced a series of lifestyle photos and videos shot on location that could be used interchangeably between the shop, digital campaigns, social media, and promotional materials for in-person events.
