| Contact and call-booking forms | Your name, email, company and anything you write in your message. |
| Course and product purchases | Your name, email and order details, through our course platform Kajabi. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. |
| Emails you send us | Whatever you choose to include. |
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: like most websites, our server records basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.
- Spam protection: when you submit the quiz, we store a coded (one-way) version of your IP address for 10 minutes to limit repeated submissions. It’s deleted automatically.
- Cookies and analytics: our website uses essential cookies to work properly. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, in a way that doesn’t identify you by name. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on.
How we use it
- To show you your quiz report and respond to your requests
- To deliver courses and products you buy, and to support you with them
- To send marketing emails, but only if you agreed (see below)
- To understand which of our resources are useful and improve them
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse
- To meet legal and accounting requirements
We won’t use your information for a new purpose without telling you, and asking for your consent where the law requires it.
Marketing emails and your consent
We follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Getting your quiz report does not sign you up for marketing. We only send tips, offers and news if you tick the consent box or sign up for our newsletter. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. We’ll stop within 10 business days.
We may still send emails you need, such as purchase receipts, course access details or replies to your messages.
Automated scoring
Your Blindspot Score is calculated automatically from your quiz answers. It’s only used to generate your report and to help us understand what kind of help your store might need. It doesn’t affect any legal rights or decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only what they need to do their job:
- Our website host WP Engine
- Our email platform Kit
- Our course platform Kajabi and payment processor Stripe
- Automation tools that pass quiz leads to our email platform Zapier
- Analytics Google Analytics
These providers must protect your information and can’t use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
Storage outside Canada
Some of our service providers store information in the United States or other countries. While it’s there, it may be accessible to authorities in that country under their laws. We choose providers that use recognized security practices.
How long we keep it
- Quiz results and contact details: up to 24 months after your last interaction with us, or until you ask us to delete them
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 7 years in Canada)
- Records of your email consent: as long as needed to show we had your permission
After that, we delete or anonymize it.
How we protect it
Access to your information is limited to people who need it. We use password protection, secure connections (HTTPS) and providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.
